Beyond War’s eight-week Study
Series provides a vibrant array of ideas participants
explore together through thoughtful dialogue. Group
members have an opportunity to internalize Beyond War’s
guiding principles and core practices, and to craft
effective, nonviolent responses to both current and
future conflicts. In addition, drawing from historical
models, the series explores such topics as encouraging
social change, exploring efficient alternatives to
violence and understanding successful advocacy.
People who complete the course report feeling more hopeful, energized and empowered to
help effect change. The course goes into
depth about not only what strategies will work personally and globally to move
the world beyond war, but it explores the tools and the language that help us
talk intelligently and effectively with people who think that war is inevitable
or a necessary evil.
